Next, visit Highland Park–Alley of Martyrs, The National Assembly (Milli Majlis), and Flame Towers, the tallest skyscrapers in Baku.

Continue your trip on the Baku Funicular, connecting Neftchilar Avenue with Martyrs’ Lane. This is the first and only funicular system in Azerbaijan (ticket included).

Take a stroll down Nizami Street, one of Baku’s main shopping and cultural hubs. Its history traces back to 1864, and it runs from the city’s west to east, connecting major landmarks along its 3.5 km stretch.

Proceed to Fountains Square, a popular downtown area in Baku. Originally called Parapet, this lively square is named after the many fountains constructed during the Soviet era.

Later, visit Baku Crystal Hall, an indoor arena near National Flag Square. Opened in 2012, it gained fame as the venue for the Eurovision Song Contest (photo stop from outside).

Head to “Little Venice”, a charming area built in 1960 on Baku Boulevard, featuring small canals and bridges reminiscent of Venice (photo stop).
